Donald Bruce Van Vlack, age 66 of Montgomery, NY passed away on May 17, 2020 at home. The son of Donald Van Vlack and the late of Emily Edith Antalek, he was born on June 8, 1953 in West Point, NY. Donald worked as a self-employed mechanic. He will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his father, Donald Van Vlack of Newburgh, NY; longtime partner Annie Luckey of Montgomery, NY; two sisters, Debra A. Van Vlack of Newburgh, NY and Wendy Francis of Selma, NC; sons, Donald Bruce Van Vlack Jr. and his wife, Jillian Van Vlack, of Glenville, NY and Stanley Steven Van Vlack of Scotia, NY; daughters, Amy Beth Van Vlack of Scotia, NY, Laura Van Vlack of Durham, NC and the late Teresa Postle of FL; grandchildren, Lydia, Alexa, Hannah, Starly, Sunny, Michael W. Gilmer lll and his wife, Krista Gilmer; great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Marie and Kennedy Grace; nieces and nephews, Michael K. Patrick of GA, Kimberly A. Patrick of Maybrook, NY, Heather A. Francis of NC and Robert Chapman of NC.
He loved his favorite Ford Truck and loved to drink his favorite Budweiser. He also loved his 70’ Road Runner; he liked to drive fast.
Services and Cremation will be private.
