My fondest memories of Ms. Mac was going over her house and immediately becoming part of her family. While standing in the kitchen and watching her cook, she would beckon to make myself at home. “Sit down nuh, have something to eat,” and along with her daughter and my dear friend, Sharon, we would get to talking about anything and everything. She would also invite me into her bedroom and show me all of her sewing projects, beaming with pride and passion.
As one of the first people to welcome me to America, I hope the soul of
Ms. Mac is at peace with our Heavenly Father.

Grandma.. I don’t even know where to begin. I miss you so much. You have always embodied strength, Kindness, love for Jesus and love for your family. I strive everyday to be like you. Miss u so Much aunty Georgie forever in my heart. I have learn so much from you which made me to the woman I am today. you loved life and especially your family.l wish I had gotten the chance to see you or to listen those stories of you telling us of where you were coming from and how much made something out of nothing.
