Frances Lydia Melick of Montgomery, NY passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY. The daughter of the late Alfred and Frances Dinsdale Patrono, she was born on April 7, 1925 in Mount Vernon, NY. She was 92 years old. Frances was the widow of the late Kenneth H. Melick, Jr. She was co-owner of Ken’s Service Station, Montgomery, NY.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Lynn L. Irto and her husband, Dominic of Albany; grandchildren: Lauren Lynch and her husband, Scott; Stephanie Medellin and her husband, Xavier; Jessica Venetis and her husband, Kyle and Kirstyn Cerone and her husband, David; great grandchildren, Kyle Paul, Alana, Kevin and Clare; nieces and nephews. Along with her husband Kenneth, she was predeceased by her son, Kenneth Paul Melick and sister, Diette Hoffman.
Services will be private. Burial will be in the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Walden Humane Society.
