Rita A Charles of Wallkill, NY passed away at home on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. The daughter of Eugene and Levina Foster Ruger, she was born on November 28, 1957 in Newburgh, NY. She was 59 years old. She was a deli clerk for Hannaford Supermarket in Modena.
Along with her mother, Levina Davis of Middletown, Rita is survived by her husband, Everett H. Charles III at home; daughter, Kristi Sladeski of Middletown; brother, Larry of Newburgh; sisters, Gina of Newburgh and Sandy and Annette of Virginia; 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Friday, August 4th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Cremation will be in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh.
