Robert E. Worden of Walden, NY passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at home. The son of the late Harold and Victoria Popiel Worden, he was born on February 9, 1955 in Newburgh. He was 62 years old. Robert was a fork lift operator for Nelco in Walden.
Survivors include his daughter, Sabrina L. Worden of Pine Bush; companion, Yolanda Campa of Poughkeepsie; cousins Edward Popiel and Dr. Maryann Popiel.
A visitation will be held from 7-9 PM on Thursday, August 10th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 11th at the funeral home. Burial of his cremains will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Montgomery, NY. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Walden Humane Society, 2489 Albany Post Rd, Walden, NY 12586.
