Obituary of William J. Post Jr.

William J. Post Jr., age 62 of Walden, NY passed away on September 23, 2019 at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, NY. The son of the late William O. and Mary Padavano Post Sr., he was born on July 8, 1957 in Newburgh, NY. William worked as a sanitation worker for the City of Newburgh. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his sisters, Marie (Peter) Venuti of Walden, NY, Anna Vingoe of Newburgh, NY; brother, Alphonsus Post of Newburgh, NY; one granddaughter; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, William was predeceased by his sister, Theresa Capwell and son, William Post III.

Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in William’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
