Obituary of Thomas Glenn "Truck" Bailey Sr.

Thomas Glenn Bailey Sr. “Truck”, age 66 of Maybrook, NY passed away on May 1, 2019 at North Westchester Restorative Nursing Center in Mohegan Lake, NY. The son of the late Norman Bailey and Barbara Ann Williams, he was born on October 11, 1952 in Waynesboro, PA.

Thomas worked as a school bus driver for Gallagher Bus Co., West Point Tours, Inc., Quality Bus Co. and Orange County Transit. He was an avid bowler at Tarsio Lanes, enjoyed shuffleboard and bingo, and was an umpire in Orange County.

Survivors include his companion, Elizabeth (Betty) Coddington of Maybrook, NY; children, Tammy Lynn Joerger and her husband, Chris, of Lakeland, FL, Thomas Bailey Jr. of Maybrook, NY, August Bailey of Maybrook, NY, Conway and Amanda Bailey of Walden, NY, Dustin Bailey of New Windsor, NY; sister, Pamela Bailey (Bill Palmer) of Toledo, OH; brother, Daryl Bailey (Lisa) of Franklin, MA; sister-in-law, Deane Bailey of Melbourne, FL; grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews; cat & dog, Smokey & Jethro. He was predeceased by his sister, Candance Dayton and his brothers, Curtis and Douglas Bailey.

A memorial service will be held at 6pm on Sunday, May 19^th at the Maybrook United Methodist Church, 313 Homestead Ave. Maybrook, NY 12543.
