Harry A. Brown of Newburgh, NY passed away on December 7, 2018 at Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh, NY. The son of the late William and Mildred Brown, he was born on December 2, 1946 in Newburgh. He was 72 years old. Harry was an avid hunter, fisherman, and a motorcycle enthusiast. He will be greatly missed. Survivors include his wife, Edith V. Johnson at home; daughters, Janet Brown and her companion, Bob Riddle, of Maryland, Linda Brown and her fiancé, Rick Casholle of Walden, NY; step-daughter, Cheri Domingues and her husband, Tony, of Wallkill, NY; step-son, Ron Johnson Jr. and his wife, Kelly, of Rock Hill, NY; sister, Linda Dunn and her husband, Bill, of Wallkill, NY; grandchildren, Arose, Misty, Hannah, Amber, Alyssa, Amanda, Heather, Jayme, Joshua, Brittney, Brandon, Zachary, Tiffany, Harry, Isabella, Mia, Sydney, Camryn and Aiden; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Harry was predeceased by his son, Harry Brown, brother, William “Junebug” Brown, and sister, Diane Ruggiero. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 10th from 6-8 p.m. at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586. Funeral services will begin at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will follow in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to use at their discretion.
