John G. Hernandez, age 49 of Walden, NY passed away on March 12, 2019 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, NY. The son of Paul and Irene F. Decker Hernandez, he was born on May 13, 1969 in Newburgh, NY.
Survivors include his mother, Irene F. Hernandez at home; brother, Michael Hernandez of Middletown, NY; uncle, Thomas Decker of Newburgh, NY; aunt, Linda Steinard of Orlando, FL; numerous cousins. John was predeceased by his father, Paul Hernandez and his uncle, James Decker.
Cremation was held privately. A memorial service will be held at 6:30pm on Wednesday, March 27th at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2520 Route 208, Walden, NY 12586. Memorial contributions may be made in John’s name to Trinity Lutheran Church.
