Obituary of Bernadette T. Gilgar

Bernadette T. Gilgar, age 71 of Walden, NY passed away on February 5, 2019 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, NY. The daughter of the late Edward and Helen Moffet Gilgar, she was born on June 16, 1947 in the Bronx, NY. Bernadette was a loving caregiver to many. She will be greatly missed.

 

Survivors include her sister, Lorraine Drake of Florida, a very special great, great-niece, Lexi, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bernadette was predeceased by her sisters, Barbara Gallagher and Patricia Gilgar as well as her brothers, Billy, Edward, Tommy, Johnny, and Jimmy Gilgar.

 

Cremation will be private. The family will hold memorial services at a later date.

 

Memorial contributions may be made in Bernadette’s name to the American Heart Association.
