Irving D. Lennon, Jr. of Walden, NY passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Town of Wallkill, NY. The son of the late Irving D. Lennon, Sr. and Lovisa Steinhilber Lennon, he was born on April 5, 1951 in Goshen, NY. He was 66 years old. He was a corrections officer at the Shawangunk Correctional Facility, Wallkill, NY and a member of Walden Sportsmen’s Club.
Irving is survived by his wife, Janice L. Coalla Lennon at home; stepson, Charles Swartout of Walden; brother-in-law, Andrew Coalla; aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, John Lennon.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, February 21st at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Memorial services will be held at 8 PM at the funeral home following the visitation. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family to be used at their discretion.
