Donald J. Tubbs of Walden, NY passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2017 at Montgomery Nursing Home, Montgomery, NY. The son of the late Joseph and Edna Christian Tubbs, he was born on May 12, 1945 in Newburgh, NY. He was 72 years old. Donald was an employee of IBM, Fishkill and George’s Auto Parts. He was a former member of the Orange Hose Co. of the Walden Fire Dept.
Donald is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Picard Tubbs at home; daughters: Tracey Bittner and her husband, Scott of Gardiner and Tricia Rogers and her husband, Steve of Walden; brother, Joseph Tubbs and his wife, Judy of Walden; granddaughter, Peyton Rose Rogers; nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Friday, February 23rd at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, February 24th at the funeral home. Cremation will be in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
