Obituary of Ralph H. Pellet

Ralph H. Pellet, age 92, of Walden, NY passed away on February 28, 2018 at Northern Riverview Healthcare Center in Haverstraw, NY. The son of the late Regis and Helen Becker Pellet, he was born on August 27, 1925 in New York City. Ralph leaves behind his loving wife, Joan T. MacLellan Pellet, at home. Ralph proudly served his country in the Army during World War II. He worked as a purchase manager for Farrand Optical in Valhalla, NY. In addition to his wife, survivors include sons, Ronald Pellet and his wife, Theresa, of North Long Branch, NJ, John Pellet of Walden; daughters, Janine O’Connor and her husband, Daniel, of Monroe, NY, Susan Grady and her husband, Michael, of Goshen, NY, Andrea Ireland and her husband, Eamon, of Stormville, NY, Jennifer Molino and her husband, Richard, of Monroe, NY; brother, Regis Pellet and his wife, Linda, of Croton-on-Hudson, NY; sister, Marie Marshall of Wappingers, NY; grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, Jonathan, Lauren, Christopher, Nicholas, Alexandra, Emily and Sarah; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Ralph was predeceased by his brother, Richard Pellet, and sister, Lucille Bulova. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 4th from 2-5PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30AM on Monday, March 5th at Church of the Most Precious Blood, 42 Walnut St. Walden, NY. Cremation will follow. Burial of ashes will be in the Orange County Veteran’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ralph’s name to New York Covenant House, 460 W 41st St, New York, NY 10036.
