William P. Szymczak of Walden, NY passed away on March 2, 2018 at Middletown Park Manor, Middletown, NY. The son of the late William P. and Barbara Jonas Szymczak Sr., he was born on April 9, 1935 in Maspeth, NY. William worked as an accountant. He was married to the late Sandra L. Szymczak. He was 82 years old.
Survivors include his son, William P. Szymczak (Stacey) of the Town of Newburgh; daughters, Patricia Szymczak (Olga Velez) of Walden, NY, Tara Grill (Mark) of Lewisville, TX, Sandra Lynne Feury (Robert) of Lincoln Park, NJ, Karen McDermott (Fred) of Walden, NY; brother, Robert Szymczak (Kathy) of Ohio; brother-in-law, Joseph Szakurski of Pennsylvania; sister, Fran Finn of Florida; grandchildren, T.J., Michael, Tyler, Steven, Mikayla, Makenzie, Kevin, David and Kyle; nieces and nephews. William was predeceased by his sister, Rosemarie Rudiger.
Cremation will be at the Cedar Hill Crematory. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, March 5th from 7-9PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586.
