Obituary of Robert Decker

Robert “Bob” Decker of Walden, NY passed away on March 11, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, NY. The son of the late William and Helen Randolph Decker, he was born on July 14, 1920 in the Town of Shawangunk. He was 97 years old. Bob was the widower of Eleanor Decker.
Bob proudly served his country in the Navy during WWII. He retired as a machine operator for K & H Corrugated Box in Walden. Everyone knew Bob as a fisherman.
Survivors include his son, Robert A. Decker and his wife, Linda, of Slingerlands, NY; daughter, Diane Decker of Montgomery, NY; grandchildren, Matt and Laura; nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Bob’s wishes, his body was donated to the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY. Family and friends are invited to share memories at Dad’s favorite eatery, Felicia’s Little Diner, 1427 Route 52, Walden, NY 12586, on Sunday, March 18th from 1-3PM.
