Lionel B. Elson, age 94 of Walden, NY, passed away on March 22, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh, NY. The son of the late Mark and Lucy Hayden Elson, he was born on December 3, 1923 in Newfoundland Canada. Lionel was married to the late Norma Baird Elson.
Lionel worked as an Electronic Technician for Montgomery-Ward in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was a former member of the Wallkill Masonic Lodge and the Orange Hose Company of the Walden Fire Department.
Burial will be held privately in Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden, NY.
