Gerald Stanley Smolenski Sr., age 75, of Montgomery, NY passed away on March 22, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, NY. The son of the late Henry and Olive Messenger Smolenski, he was born on January 15, 1943 in Middletown, NY. Gerald worked as a Millworker for General Motors in Baltimore, MD.
Survivors include his sons, Kevin Smolenski and his wife, Emily, of New Windsor, Gerald Smolenski Jr. and his wife, Bobbi, of Louisiana; daughters, Danielle Anderson and her husband, John, of Pennsylvania, Michelle Smolenski-Connors of New Jersey; brothers, Leonard Smolenski and Henry Smolenski Jr.; sister, Sharon Smolenski; grandchildren, Adam, Asa, Cori, Nicole, Emily, Shane, Aidan, Connor and Claire. Gerald was predeceased by his son, Douglas Smolenski and brother Roger Smolenski.
Services and cremation will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in Gerald’s name to Pancreatic Cancer Research.
