Delia Torres, a retired nurse’s aide and a homemaker, of Middletown, NY passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Town of Wallkill, NY. The daughter of the late Ramon and Maria Fernandez Rodriguez, she was born on June 5, 1943 in Puerto Rico. She was 74 years old. She was a member of the Crossroads Assembly of God Church and participated in the Sunshine Adult Daycare in Newburgh.
Delia is survived by her sons: Edwin Torres, Jr. and his wife, Christine of Walden and Michael Torres and his wife, Jennifer of Walden; daughters: Camille Pentz and her husband, Willard of Wallkill; Deanna Torres of New Windsor and Nydia Torres-Embler and her husband, Gary of Wallkill; 9 grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 3 sisters and a brother.
Memorial services will be held at 4 PM on Saturday, September 23rd at the Crossroads Assembly of God Church, 7 D’Alfanso Road, Newburgh, NY. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Crossroads Assembly of God Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
