Donald Patrick Chatelaine, age 72 of Walden, NY, passed away on April 4, 2018 at home. The son of the late Charles and Emily Hartley Chatelaine, he was born on October 26, 1945 in New York City. Donald leaves behind his loving wife, Nora Kelly Chatelaine, at home.
Donald honorably served his country in the Air Force, working as a Master Sergeant/Life Support for the Air National Guard at Stewart Air Force Base, Newburgh, NY.
In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by his daughter, Christina Chatelaine of Walden; sisters, Barbara Hipp (Ed) of NY and Betty Reid of NJ; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Patricia and Elaine, and his brothers, Charles and Paul.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, June 9th at the Church of the Most Precious Blood, 42 Walnut St. Walden, NY.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Donald’s name to the Church of the Most Precious Blood.
