Donald J. Jennings Sr., age 86 of Walden, NY, passed away on April 11, 2018 at home. The son of the late Melvin and Agnes Cawein Jennings, he was born on June 19, 1931 in Campbell Hall, NY. Donald served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He worked as an Operating Engineer for the Local 825 in New Jersey. Donald was a former member of the Col. Bradley Hose Co. of the Walden Fire Department. He leaves behind his loving wife, Anna E. Sweed Jennings, at home.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his son, Donald Jennings Jr. and his wife, Donna, of Walden; daughter, Cindy Stevens and her companion, John Lyons, of Pine Bush; brothers, Ivan Jennings and his wife, Carol, of Florida, Robert Jennings and his wife, Donna, of Pennsylvania; step-daughters, Penny Morrow of Pine Bush, Christine Smith of Oregon, Shari Luis of Pine Bush; grandchildren, David, James and Scott; great-grandchildren, Scotty, Brionna, Mackenzie, Wesley and Jackson; numerous step-grand & great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Donald was predeceased by his brother, Melvin and his first wife, Frances.
Services and cremation are private.
