Bob and I lived down the street from each other growing up. I remember the day he got his brand new 1959 black Chevy convertible…you never saw a guy so happy. Betty was our ‘cafeteria lady’ after Bob’s dad died so young. Bob became the man of the family and of necessity took on the family responsibilities. We spent countless happy hours together talking motorcycles and cars. We ran into each other a couple of years ago and reminisced a bit about the old days. Bob was a good guy and a good friend. My most heartfelt condolences to Bill and Jim and Bob’s family.
