Robert L. Scotto of Newburgh passed away on Sunday, September 17 at the Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, New York City. He was born in Newburgh on April 29, 1950 to Pearl Henry Scotto and the late Frank Scotto. He was 67 years old.
Robert was a member of Freedom Road Bible Church, Walden. He was also a Navy Veteran, electrician, and a graphic designer for Apple Valley Signs, Newburgh.
Survivors include his wife, Kim Nowak Scotto, at home; mother, Pearl Scotto of Modena; son, Richard Scotto and his wife Irene of Montgomery; daughter, Stephanie DeCaprio and her husband Christopher of New Windsor; two brothers, John Scotto and his wife Lisa of Newburgh, and Frank Scotto Jr. and his wife Michelle of Wallkill; sister, Carmella Savignano and her husband Fred of New Windsor. Three grandchildren, Ashlee, Isabella and Madison; nieces and nephews. Robert was predeceased by brothers, Charles and Richard as well as sister, Deborah.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 20th from 6-9pm at the Freedom Road Bible Church, 850 State Route 52 Walden, NY. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 21st at 10am at the Freedom Road Bible Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.
