Irene F. Moore, a homemaker, of Maybrook, NY passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Town of Wallkill, NY. The daughter of the late Joseph F. and Irene H. Hessberger Palenik, she was born on April 28, 1926 in Maybrook, NY. She was 92 years old. She was the widow of the late James R. “Bob” Moore.
Irene is survived by her sons: Peter Moore of San Antonio, TX; James Moore (Rita) of San Antonio, TX; and Matthew Moore (Mary) of Glen Spey; daughters: Irene Becker of Wallkill; Miriam Cassel (Joe) of New Hampton; Mamie Elliott (Ford) of Maybrook; Nora Gage (Scott) of Goshen; daughter-in-law, Anne Moore of Schenectady; brother, Jacob Palenik (Karen) of Hillsboro, OR; grandchildren: Joe, Jeremy, Catherine, Tim, Jake, Jimmy, Elizabeth, MacKenzie, Jennifer, Hannah and Morgan; grant grandchildren: Jake, Jared, Hazel and August, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Palenik and son-in-law, Dave Becker.
Funeral services and burial will be private. Burial will be in the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery Food Pantry, People for People Fund @ the TH Record or the Maybrook Fire Dept.
