Alan R. Bohlen, Sr. of Maybrook, NY passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side on Thursday, June 14, 2018. The son of the late Clarence and Doris Brown Bohlen, he was born on August 23, 1958 in San Diego, CA. He was 59 years old. Alan was a retired diesel mechanic for Yellow Freight in Maybrook. Survivors are his longtime companion, Jennifer Zazersky of Maybrook; son, Alan R. Bohlen, Jr. and his wife, Amy of Pine Bush; daughter, Kelly Ramnarine and her husband, Nicos of Yonkers; grandchildren: Chase, Amelia and Mia; sisters: Alice Teed and her husband, Grant of Windsor, NY and Mary Bohlen of Windsor, NY and nephew, Patrick Ranger. A visitation will be held from 4-7 PM on Tuesday, June 26th at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Route 208, Walden, NY. Funeral services will begin at 6:30 PM on Tuesday evening. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Ct., Newburgh, NY.12550
