William Earl Decker of Walden, a former farmer and employee for Orange and Rockland Gas and Electric died on Saturday October 27, 2012 at St. Luke’s Hospital Newburgh, NY He was 86 years old. The son of Benjamin H. and Helen Curm Decker, he was born on September 24, 1926 in Cornwall, NY. Earl was a memer of the Orange County Farmers Museum.
Survivors include 1 brother, Allen B. Decker of South Carolina, 1 sister Jane Quickel of Stuart, Florida, nieces and nephews
Visitation will be held on Friday November 2, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY
Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 3, 2012 at 10 am at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Bruynswick Rural Cemetery, Wallkill, NY
Memorial contributions may be made to the Orange County Farmer’s Museum PO Box 35 850 Route 17K Montgomery, NY 12549.
