Celia Engelstein of Forest Hill, NY passed away on November 3, 2012 in Queens, NY. The daughter of Samuel and Ida Jacobowitz, she was born on September 26, 1912 in Ellenville, NY. She was 100 years old.
Celia is survived by her grandchildren Jamie Engel and Nicole Engel of Australia; two great grandchildren; her nephew, Gerald N. Jacobowitz of Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY; and her niece Joyce Concors of Walden, NY. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, November 9 at 11:00 am at the Wellwood Cemetery, Pinelawn, NY.
