Joan M. Miller, a Brooklyn native who became a Walden resident in 1972, passed away on January 31, 2013 St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh, NY. She was 78 yrs. old. She was born on October 3, 1934 to Charles Thomas and Mary Lettieri Jundrio. She was married to the late William G. Miller. Joan was a bookkeeper for many years at the Town of Shawangunk. She served on the Board for the Walden Little League for over 10 yrs. She was also the commissioner of the Family Football Pool. She never missed a game or the chance to have a great time. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by three sons, Stephen Rosalli and wife Deanette of California, Erik C. Miller of Mount Pleasant S.C., Glenn W. Miller and wife Vicki of Latham, NY, two daughters, Annapurna Rosalli and husband Jacob Highter of VT, Chris Miller and husband Jan Powers of Walden, NY, 11 grandchildren, Winona, Hopa, J.C., Joshua, Jared, Jamie, Nicholas, Samantha, Jimmy, Scott and Frances, 4 great grandchildren, Hannah, Savannah, Chase and Elsie. She is predeceased by her loving husband William and sister Patricia Jundrio. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Visitation will be held Friday February 1, 2013 from 6-8 PM and Saturday February 2, from 11-1PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY, 12586. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday February 2, 2013 at 1 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home Cremation Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY
