Sylvia Mae Oldrey a seamstress for various dress manufacturers of Orange Co, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, NY. The daughter of George & Grace Cook Davidson, she was born on May 09, 1927 in Alligerville, NY. She was 85. Sylvia loved playing bingo.
Sylvia is the widow of the late Karl Oldrey. She is survived by 2 sons, Howard Oldrey of Walden and Lawrence Roy Oldrey and wife Lenore of Westbrookville, NY, daughter Maryanne Mead of Niagara Falls, NY, brother Donald Oldrey, sisters Joyce, Dot and Noreen, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews
She was predeceased by her daughter Theresa Mead.
Visitation at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home 39 Orchard St. from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Thursday February 7, 2013
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home at 2:00 pm.
Burial Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden, NY
