Christine M. Freer of Walden, NY passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Valley View Nursing Home, Goshen, NY. The daughter of the late Joseph Francis and Frances Cuzik Kelly, she was born on February 20, 1949 in New York City, NY. She was 68 years old. She was a medical receptionist for Middletown Medical and past President of the Wallkill Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary.
Chris is survived by her husband, Richard Freer at home; son, Timothy Freer and his wife, Erica of Gardiner; grandchildren: Ethan, Nathan and Spencer; sister-in-law, Mary Kelly of Walden; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Kelly.
A visitation will be held from 1-4 PM on Sunday, October 1st at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, October 2nd at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Gardiner, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
