Natalie G. McBride Christian of Wallkill, NY, a former teacher in the Newburgh School District, passed away on March 28, 203 at Elant at Newburgh Nursing Home. She was 84. The daughter of the late George Eager and Christine Frechem McBride, she was born on May 12, 1928 in Walden, NY. She was a former member of the Walden United Methodist Church.
Natalie is survived by a daughter, Melanie DeLorenzo and her husband Neil of Wallkill; a son, George Martin Christian and his wife, Laurie Joan of Oley, PA; four grandchildren, Dana, Megan, Benjamin and Sarah Ann; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Gertrude Boat, Clara Schaefer and Barbara Blume.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 1, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Hamptonburgh Cemetery, Hamptonburgh.NY
