La Grangeville, NY
Robert James Lewis of La Grangeville, NY, a truck driver for the Teamsters Local 445, passed away on June 18, 2013 at Vassar Hospital, Poughkeepsie, NY. He was 81. The son of Earl Ward and Anna Bennis Lewis, he was born on August 25, 1931. He was a US Army veteran of the Koran War.
Robert J. Lewis was a loving father, family man and talented craftsman dedicated to his family and home. He will be missed.
Robert is survived by his wife Ann Montone Lewis at home; his children, Robert James Lewis Jr. and Lee Ann Lewis Noonan and her husband, Glen; grandchildren, Jennifer Noonan Bajunid and her husband, Anaz, Melissa Noonan Werner and her husband, Jeff, Kimberly Noonan and her fiancé Jack Haubert, and Kayla Noonan; Grant grandson, Xavier Bajunid; family members, Michael Avazano, Suzie Sullivan, and Joan Perisse, numerous nieces, nephews and family.
Funeral services were private.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
