Michael A. Bowen of Middletown, NY, an employee for Pine Bush Equipment, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. He was 58 years old. The son of Edward and Frances Wytrick Bowen, he was born on June 28, 1955 in Goshen, NY. Michael was a NASCAR fan and loved shooting archery.
He was the widower of the late Cathy Price Bowen. Survivors are his father, Edward Bowen and his wife, Audrey of New Paltz; his mother, Frances Zielinski and her husband, Joe of South Carolina; his longtime companion, Susan E. Tucker of Middletown; three sons, Michael A. Bowen of Bloomingburg, Eric A. Bowen and Clinton A. Bowen both of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Debbie Gloster and her husband, Bill of Middletown and Cindy Gloster and her husband, George of Middletown; his beloved aunt, Barbara Krasinski of Selden, NY; seven grandchildren, half brothers, half sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 7 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
