Shirley H. Parliman, a homemaker, of Walden, NY passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Town of Wallkill, NY. She was 73. The daughter of James and Hazel Rosenkranse Miller, she was born on November 26, 1939, in Walden, NY.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Ronald Parliman at home; four sons: John “Jack” Miller of Bloomingburg; Timothy Miller and his wife, Pat of Chester; Kenneth Miller and his wife, Lisa of Bloomingburg; and Anthony Parliman of Boulder, CO; a daughter, Donna Porter and her husband, Bill of Lindstrom, MN; brother, John Miller of Edgewater, FL; two sisters: Betty Tucker of Clinton, MT and Joyce Felter of Richmondville, NY; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother James Miller and sister, Patricia Lattimer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 6, 2013, from 7-9 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 7 at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Goshen at 10 AM.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Town of Montgomery Food Pantry.
