Roger A. Smolenski Sr. of Wurtsboro, NY, formerly of the Orange County, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Castle Point Veterans Hospital. The son of Henry and Olive Messenger Smolenski, he was born on May 21, 1944 in Middletown, NY. He was 69 years old. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
Roger is survived by his loving wife Beverly at home, son Roger Smolenski Jr. of Wurtsboro, three brothers, Leonard and wife Peggy of New City, NY., Gerald Smolenski of Montgomery, Henry J. Smolenski and wife Carol of Newburgh; sister Sharon Smolenski of Nyack. Two Grandchildren, Eric and Sierra Smolenski, 20 + nieces and nephews.
Cremation Cedar Hill Crematory
Burial of ashes will be held at the convenience of the family.
