James J. Zelonski, Sr. of Walden, NY passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY. A WW II Maine veteran, he was born on November 22, 1926 in New York City, NY. He was 91 years old. He was an auto body repairman for Wallkill Auto Body Repair, Wallkill, NY.
James is survived by his wife, Lucille Marciano Zelonski at home; son, James J. Zelonski, Jr. of West Islip; daughters: Maryann Marlabra (Louis) of Calverton, and Karen Nichols of Buffalo; stepsons: Stephen Hines (Nancy) of Delaware and Kenneth Hines (Terri) of Nesconset; stepdaughter, Linda Buteau (Jeff) of Middletown; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY. Funeral services will be private.
