Irma Vasquez entered into rest on Dec. 14, 2013 at Kaplan Family Hospice Residence, Newburgh, NY. She was 80 years old. The daughter of the late Felipe and Eulalia Busett Matos, she was born December 10, 1933 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Irma made her home in Walden with her grandson Danny Vasquez and his wife, Vanessa. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her daughters, Lourdes Santiago, Bridgida Jativa, Eloisa Campan; brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Julia Santiago.
Mass of Christian burial will be on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at 10 AM at the Church of the Most Precious Blood, 42 Walnut St., Walden, NY
Burial will be in Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden, NY
