Jeremy M. Scully of the Town of Newburgh, an aircraft refinisher for Reese Aircraft, passed away on December 22, 2013 in Newburgh. The son of Steven and Pamela Osusky Scully, he was born on November 5, 1986 in Newburgh, NY. Jeremy also worked with his father doing auto repair and restoration. He was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast doing burnouts and wheelies. Jeremy has a “heart of gold”. His motto was “live to ride and ride to live”. Survivors are his parents, Seven and Pamela Scully of the Town of Newburgh; brother, Steven Scully Jr. and is family of Walden; sister, Kathy Crossman and her husband, Preston of Hawley, PA; grandparents, Bob Scully of Pine Bush, Rita Scully of Newburgh, and Edward Osusky of Newburgh. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces including Uncles Pat O’Donnell, Max Furman and Keith Scully; Aunts Mary Osusky-Furman and Linda Lancaster; Cousins, Max Osusky and Edward Hall and Niece Alyssa Crossman. He was predeceased by his Grandmother, Amy Osusky. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 4-8 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 27, at St. Mary’s Church, Montgomery, NY. Burial will be in the Bloomingburg Cemetery, Bloomingburg, NY. Contributions may be made to the family to be used at their discretion.
