Brian W. Stratton, Sr. of Newburgh, NY, owner of Stratton Electrical in Newburgh, NY, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013 in Nyack Hospital, Nyack, NY. The son of the late William and Marie Alouise Stratton, he was born on September 22, 1949 in Newburgh, NY. He was 64 years old. He was the husband of the late Susianna Stratton. He was an avid hunter and was a member of both the Montgomery and Blackrock Sportsman Clubs. Brian is survived by four sons, John Stratton and his wife, Josie of Peoria AZ, Joseph and his wife Renee of Louisville, TX, Brian and his wife, Julianne of Walden, NY and Vincent and his wife Lee of Walden, NY; two daughters, Debra Calie and her husband, Andres of Maine and Kimberly Fassilis and her husband, Nick of Kingston, NY; one brother, Roger Stratton of Walden, NY; three sisters, Jeanie Allen and Billie Szafranski and Ellen Dietsch all of Las Vegas, NV; fourteen grandchildren, Patrick Stephanie, Robert, Brian III, John, Joseph, Christopher, Angelina, Alexis, Austin, Alison, Austin, Madison, and Cheyenne, several nieces and nephews. Along with his wife, Susianna, he was predeceased by two sisters, Louis Stratton and Diane Cocks. A memorial visitation will be held on January 11, 2014 from 2-4 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral HOme,39 Orchard Street, Walden, NY. A memorial service will take place at 4 PM at the funeral home following the visitation. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY
