Obituary of Margaret J. Dickinson

Margaret J. Dickinson formerly of Walden, NY, a dedicated homemaker, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. She was 85 years old. The daughter of Daniel T. and Helen Kelly Garrigan, she was born on November 13, 1928 in Newburgh, NY. She was married to the late Warren Dale Dickinson. Margaret was very active in the church of the Most Precious Blood, Walden. She was a Eucharistic Minister as well as a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She later moved to Middletown and was also active at St. Josephs Church where she was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Survivors include her son Paul Dickinson of Middletown. Cousins, Richard Shea of Wallkill and Margaret Donnolly of Walden ; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Warren; son Mark J. Dickinson; brother Daniel P. Garrigan; sister Jacqueline Davison; parents Daniel T. and Helen Garrigan. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 10 AM at the Church of Most Precious Blood, Walden, NY. Burial of ashes will be at a later date. Contributions may be made to Most Precious Blood Church or EWTN.
