Frank Fratto, Jr. of East Haven, CT. formerly of Maybrook, NY passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Branford Hills Nursing Home. The son of Frank and Vincenza Buffa Fratto, Sr., he was born on February 19, 1925 in Maybrook, NY. He was a railroad engineer, a WWII Army veteran, and a former member of the Elks Club and Sons of Italy. He was the widower of Mary Fratto.
Survivors are his son, Christopher J. Fratto (Bettina) of Tupper Lake; daughter, Lisa A. Page (Mark) of East Haven, Ct; brother, Samuel Fratto of Maybrook; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sons, Michael J. and Frank E. Fratto and several brothers and sisters.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 1st from 1-2 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Services will be held at 2 PM at the funeral home following the visitation. Burial of his cremains will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Montgomery, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
