Salvatore Mazza of Maybrook, NY. passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick , NJ. He was 57 years old. The son of the late John and Elizabeth Palazzo Mazza, he was born on January 6, 1957 in Bronx, NY. He was married to Nancy McManus Mazza.
Sal was an active life member of the Maybrook Fire Department for over 30 yrs. He was a Member of the Orange County Hazmat Team, and also a member of the Orange County Volunteer Firemans Association. He owned and operated his own trucking company.
Survivors include his wife Nancy of Maybrook; two sons, Justin Mazza of Pine Bush and John Mazza of Maybrook, daughter Courtney Mazza of Maybrook. Several loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 29, 2014 from 4-8 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Montgomery, NY. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Goshen, New York.
