Dennis P. DeSena of Maybrook, NY. passed away on Monday, January 27, 2014 at Kaplan Family Hospice Center in Newburgh , NY. He was 61 years old. The son of the late Vincent and Tina Sbordone DeSena, he was born on June 23, 1952 in Union City , NJ. He was married to Barbara Nisbet DeSena.
Dennis was a coach in the Maybrook Little League. He was an avid Yankee fan. He will be greatly missed by his family.
Survivors include his wife Barbara at home in Maybrook; two sons, Christopher DeSena and wife Lisa, Mark DeSena and wife Rebecca; brother Charles DeSena and wife Laura of Dumont, NJ; grandchildren, Amy DeSena and Michael DeSena many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday January 30, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586
Funeral Services will be on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Rte 52 Walden, New York.
