Helen V. Hughes a longtime resident of the area passed away on Friday February 7, 2014 at Valley View Center for Nursing Care in Goshen , NY. She was 92 years old. Helen was born on November 5, 1922 in NYC , NY. She was the widow of the late Max E. Hughes.
Survivors include her sons John Hughes of Walton, NY, Gerald Hughes and wife Michele of Rock Tavern, NY, Robert and wife Elizabeth of Lake Placid, NY.; daughter Roberta Beany and husband Dan of Warwick; grandchildren Dan, Tara, Joseph, Cheryl, Lacy and Rebecca; four great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by husband Max E. Hughes and her brother John Visvardis.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday February 14, 2014 at 11 AM at the Good Shepard Lutheran Church 95 Kings Hwy, Warwick, NY 10990
Burial of ashes will be private
In lieu of flowers friends may make contributions to The Good Shepard Lutheran Church Renovation Fund. 95 Kings Hwy, Warwick, NY 10990
