Gladys Coddington Donnelly was born on February 4, 1921 in Pine Bush, New York to Edgar Russell and Viola Cooper Coddington. She was the widow of Rodney J. Donnelly. She is survived by one son Keith Donnelly and his wife Patricia of Cornwall; three grandchildren, Brendan M. Donnelly and his wife Thammy of Bronxville and their children, Jake, Stella and Maeve; Bridget M. Donnelly of Astoria; Brian S. Wilson and his wife Jodie of Wappingers Falls; and nieces and nephews. She was, in addition to her husband, predeceased by her daughter, Patricia A. Wilson, one granddaughter, Susan Colleen Wilson, one brother, Irwin Russell (Rusty) Coddington; two sisters, Doris M. Coddington and Ruth C. Decker.
She was a member of the The Walden Baptist Church and AARP. A retired bookkeeper, she was active with volunteer work; Meals on Wheels, Literacy Volunteers, and The Association for the Visually Impaired as long as physically able. She enjoyed family, friends and church; outdoor music programs, picnics, local festivals, and church functions. Her hobbies were reading, bird watching, photography and gardening. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation and Services were held at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home.
Burial took place in New Prospect Cemetery, Pine Bush, NY
