Robert M. McCarvel of Walden, NY passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh. A chef at various restaurants and diners, he was born on May 26, 1963 in Middletown, NY. He was 50 years old.
Robert is survived by his father, Robert E. McCarvel of Campbell Hall; his mother, Mary McCarvel Rossi of New Windsor; fiancée Donna Nugent of Walden; son Robert McCarvel, Jr. of North Carolina; two daughters, Brooke McCarvel Maiori of Grahamsville, and Tricia Ryder of Newburgh; a brother, Kelly McCarvel of New Windsor; two sisters, Betty Davis of Pine Bush and Mary Cosman of Newburgh, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Walter McCarvel and a nephew, Tyler Kyles.
Funeral services and cremation will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to Donna Nugent, 38 East Main Street, Walden, NY 12586, to be used at her discretion.
