Howard K. Storms, of Middletown, NY passed away at home on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. The son of the late Howard K. and Margaret Mason Storms, Sr., he was born on March 17, 1928 in Bronx, NY. He was 90 years old. He was a WW II Army Veteran and a retired instructor for the NYS Dept. of Corrections, Otisville, NY. Howard was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. He was also a member of the American Legion, Middletown and past Chief of Police for the Village of Montgomery.
Howard is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Wickham Storms at home; sons: Mark Storms (Colleen) of Lakewood Ranch, FL; Greg Storms of Walker Valley; Kevin Storms (Debra) of Tyler Hill, PA and Stephen Storms (Luanne) of Shohola, PA; daughter, Mary Beth Perna of Bloomingburg; brother Robert Storms of Arizona; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Friday, September 7th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 8th at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
