Warren Trent of Coldenham, NY. passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Castle Point Veterans Hospital. He was 82 years old. The son of the late Henry and Mary Costa Trent, he was born on October 6, 1931 in Rock Tavern, NY. He was married to Dolores Gresovic Trent.
Warren served his community for many years as a local owner of Trent Memorial in Coldenham, NY. Warren served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was past commander of the American Legion in Montgomery, NY. Warren was a life member, past Chief and past Commissioner of the Coldenham Fire District. He was a past member of the Town of Montgomery Zoning Board of Appeals. He was also a member of the Monument Dealers of America.

Survivors include his wife Dolores at home; son Warren T. Trent and his wife Bridget of Ho-ho-kus, N.J.; daughter, Allison L. Bernstein and husband Eric of Cortlandt Manor, NY; step-daughter, Sharon Davis and husband Hugh of Copake, N.Y.; brother Hjalmar D. “Dan” Trent of Sparks, Nevada; sister, Norma R. Trent of Coldenham, N.Y.; grandchildren, Maggie, Jeffrey, Warren, Anna, William, Ellie, Aidan, Annie and Rebecca; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wed. July 30, 2014 from 6-9 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home Inc. 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden.
