Obituary of Jean M. Princiotta

Jean M. Princiotta, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on August 17, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospital Newburgh, N.Y. . She was 78 yrs. old. Jean was a retired secretary at The Church of the Most Precious Blood in Walden, NY. Jean was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Jane Hluboky. She is survived by her husband Joseph W. Princiotta; daughter, Patty Vanhouten and her husband Eric of Lacona, NY.; daughter Kathy Herlihy and her husband Jim of Wallingford, CT.; three grandchildren, Christina and her husband Ron, Daniel, and Kiley, her nephew, who was like a son to her, John Hluboky and his wife Beatrice; brother Richard Hluboky of Hudson Falls, NY.; nieces and nephews. Jean is predeceased by her sister Eleanor Devine; brother John Hluboky; and her grandson Henry Vanhouten. She was a member of the Church of the Most Precious Blood, Walden, N.Y. and Treasurer of the Golden Links Senior Citizens of Maybrook, N.Y. Jean and Joe were married for 56 years. The love they shared, and their faith in God, provided a strong foundation and example for the rest of their family. Jean reached out and invited many who were not relatives into her family. A strong, loving and giving person, she will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched. Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 19, 2014. From 6-8 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home Inc. 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 20, 2014 at 1 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home. Burial will be in Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Goshen, NY. Contributions may be made to the Montgomery Food Pantry
