Suzanne V. Kurman of Accord, NY passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Mt. Sinai Hospital, New York, NY. The daughter of Annmarie Jackson Hartnett and the late Jeremiah Hartnett., she was born on October 28, 1961 in Warwick, NY. She was 56 years old. She was the head court clerk for the Town of Marbletown and a member of the First Baptist Church of Kingston. She was also an Army Nurse serving from 1981 to 1987. Along with her mother, Annmarie Hartnett of Brooksville, FL, Suzanne is survived by her husband, Gary Kurman at home; sons: Jeremiah Thompson of Kingston, James Thompson of Accord, Michael Kurman of Accord, and Keith Kurman (Rebecca) of Newburgh; daughter, Alice Rae Kurman-Kostrubal (Justin) of Wallkill; grandchildren: Iris Rose, Paige, Abigail and Grayson; brothers: Jeremiah Hartnett (Cary) of Tampa, FL and Ernie Hartnett (Mary)) of Milford, PA; sisters: Theresa Grazevich (Tony) of Sussex, NJ and Marybeth Hromnak (Steven) of Blairstown, NJ. ; nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 14th from 5-8 PM at the Gridley-Hora n Funeral Home, 39 Orchard Street, Walden, NY. Funeral services will begin at 8 PM at the funeral home following the visitation. Cremation will be in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Kingston, 73 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401.
