Michael Steffanci of Walden, NY, an employee of Hoffman-LaRoche in Nutley, NJ, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at home. The son of John and Lucy Girado Steffanci, he was born on March 12, 1941 in Beacon, NY. He was 73 years old. He was a member of the Century Museum Village & Collectables Assoc.
Michael is survived by his wife, Nancy Scholl Steffanci at home; daughters, Helen George of Maine and Debbie Steffanci of Wappingers Falls; brother, John “Jack” Steffanci of Beacon; sisters, Marysue Kelly of Beacon and Joan Goetius of North Carolina; grandchildren, Krystle and Kaitlyn; great grandson, Otto and nieces and nephews including William Scholl of Wappingers Falls. He was predeceased by his brothers, Joe and Ralph Staffanci.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th from 6-8 PM at the Goodwill Presbyterian Church, Route 208, Montgomery, NY. Funeral services will follow at 8 PM at the church. Cremation will be in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Goodwill Presbyterian Church.
